Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf – May focus: Cereal and Canned Fruit.
Bottles and Cans – Rob McCulloch is still collecting “clean” bottles and cans for the Mission Share Outreach Center. Mission Share’s monthly focus continues to be
pasta of any kind, spaghetti sauce, and tomato sauce. Thank you to all who continue to drop items in our Mission Share baskets.Juliet’s Luncheon – Friday, June 27, 12:30 PM, Place: TBD. If you plan to attend, please contact Dottie Mason.
Spring Shoreline Clean-Up – The spring clean-up is rescheduled for Saturday, May 31, with the same plan: Meet at 10:00 AM in the Lakeview parking lot. Pastor Rick and Rose will not be able to attend as they will be attending their daughter’s wedding. Hope that many of you will be able to participate in cleaning up God’s creation around the Lakeview Community neighborhood.

Consistory Mini-Minutes: The Lakeview Consistory met on Monday, May 19.
1. Rex Ahrens led devotions from Our Daily Bread – “Hopeless or Hopeful.” The people of Israel faced serious challenges but Caleb had faith in God. (Numbers 13:26-33)

2. Guest Bill Foster discussed potential benefits of solar power (Genesis 1:3 & 26-28)
3. Church property improvements were discussed, including resurfacing the parking lot.
4. We received updates from various committees, including Outreach and Finance, etc.Classis Update: The Rochester Classis met on Tuesday, May 20, at the Reformed Church of Interlaken. Rick Admiraal and Chris Dorland were delegates. Rose Admiraal also attended as a guest.

1. Interlaken’s Pastor Sulia Mason preached – “You have need of patience” (Hebrews 10:36). Lynda Diamond (Jane Egan’s relative) played the organ and served as an elder delegate.
2. Along with other grant proposals, Lakeview’s request to fully fund a commissioned pastor pilot program for three years was approved!
3. We discussed the transition to Middle Assemblies (replacing Classis and Regional Synod) to be implemented by December of 2026.
4. We received a farewell speech from Camp Fowler’s Executive Director, Rev. “Uncle” Kent Busman, who is retiring after 39 years of ministry. Delegates laid hands on Kent and prayed for him.Worship Participation – Worship Participant Lists for Sunday services (Greeters, Sound Operators, Prayer Leaders, and Worship Assistants) are being prepared. All lists run from Sept. 2025 through Sept. 2026; and are distributed in late August. Please notify the church secretary if you wish to have your name removed or added to the lists. Thank you for volunteering your time.
Vacation –
…Church Secretary, Dotti Fries, on vacation May 23 through June 1 (back in the office on June 3). Audrey Blocchi will fill in for Dotti.
