Juliets’ Luncheon – Next luncheon is scheduled for Friday, January 23, at the Los Gallos Mexican Grill (270 Ridge Road West). Please notify Dottie Mason if you plan to attend. Sign-up sheet will be available soon.
Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf – With the winter months ahead, the GEFS has requested the January focus to be canned beets, chili-flavored beans, coffee or tea.
Bottles and Cans – Rob McCulloch will continue to collect “clean” bottles and cans for Mission Share for 2026. At present, focus items continue to be pasta of any kind, canned fruit of any kind, and toiletries.
Sunday Flower Chart – Check out the new Flower Chart posted in the Fellowship Hall. Cost for the bouquets has risen slightly to $27 for each Sunday. Checks should be made payable to Marti O’Dell. Cash is always welcome. Dates are filling up― and you don’t want to miss your special dates.
Monthly Mission for January-February is Saving Grace Ministries – A special collection will be received on Sunday, January 18, for this organization. Jim Crowley will be speaking to us on behalf of Saving Grace Ministries.
Lost & Found – For your convenience, a box for lost and found items has been placed in the narthex by the bookcase.
Condolences are extended to the family of Faye Cole, long-time member of Lakeview who passed away on Tuesday, January 6. Please keep the Cole family in your thoughts and prayers.
New Address – Received this email from Lynn Allhusen: “Hi, we have decided to relocate closer to our daughter in Connecticut. Our current address is 200 Birch Road, West Suffield, Connecticut 06093. In another few weeks, we will be moving to a senior living facility.”
