Lakeview Community Church, 30 Long Pond Road (near Edgemere Drive) supports the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf every month. However, August is a special month in that a goal is set. This year the goal was to collect 1200 cans of Baked Beans. Not only was the challenge met, but it was exceeded in that 2012 cans were donated. Many thanks to church members, family members, friends, co-workers, and lakeshore neighbors for their support in making this a huge success.
