Coffee Hour – Thank you to Dottie Mason for hosting today’s Coffee Hour.

Thank you to Kevin Griffith and JoAnn Kehrli-Merlau for providing the music for today’s worship service.

“Lakeviewer” – The January-February newsletter will be distributed to Lakeview’s members and friends on Jan. 4th.

Juliets’ Luncheon – Next luncheon is scheduled for Friday, January 23.  Place: TBD.  Please notify Dottie Mason if you plan to attend.  Sign-up sheet will be available soon.

Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf – Presently, the GEFS is revising its list of requested items for the months of 2026; and it will be ready soon.  As soon as we receive the list of requested items for January and February, it will be posted on the sign by the big baskets in the narthex.

Bottles and Cans – Rob McCulloch will continue to collect “clean” bottles and cans for Mission Share for 2026. At present, focus items continue to be pasta of any kind, canned fruit of any kind, and toiletries.

2026 Calendars – Some 2026 calendars still remain in the narthex; pick up your copy.

2026 Secret Prayer Pal Program – As many of you know, the SPP has been in existence at Lakeview for many, many years; and we are continuing again in 2026. As a reminder those who participate in the SPP Program are given a person to pray for throughout the year.  Some Prayer Pals, in addition to prayer, send cards or give small gifts to their SPP; but remember, the purpose of this program is PRAYER (cards and gifts are not expected or required).  If you are interested in participating, please complete the SPP form that can be found in the Narthex or you may give it directly to Audrey Blocchi by Sunday, January 11, 2026.  The breakfast to reveal the 2025 Secret Prayer Pals will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

Installation Service – Lakeview’s newly elected Consistory Members will be installed during the 10 AM worship service on January 4. Congratulations to new Elder, Becky Hibbard; and new Deacon, Dottie Mason.

Sunday Flower Chart – Marti O’Dell has graciously (and enthusiastically) agreed to continue the tradition of bringing lovely flowers to the Sanctuary each week. The cost for 2026 has risen slightly to $27 for each Sunday.  Checks should be made payable to Marti O’ Dell.  Cash is always welcome.  Please stop and sign up for one or more dates to provide flower bouquets for our Sunday mornings.  Thank you all.

2026 Offering Envelopes – A few boxes of the 2026 offering envelopes remain in the narthex.  Please pick up your envelopes.  If I’ve missed anyone, please contact me, Linda Viney, at 392-1996.

Thank-You Cards – Please take a moment and check out the Christmas/Thank-You cards on the Fellowship Hall bulletin board that Lakeview has received.
