A N N O U C E M E N T S for Sunday, May 17, 2026…
A big welcome to members of Adult & Teen Challenge of Rochester! They’ll be leading our worship service this morning. They will be selling cutting boards in the narthex which range from $50-$120. Wax for the boards available too. You may wish to sign up for the “Dollar A Day” student sponsorship as well.
4th Annual Run/Walk for Recovery – Sponsored by the Rochester Adult & Teen Challenge Organization – Join us on Saturday, June 6, at the Roberts Wesleyan University at 12:00 PM. Registration is $35/person which includes t-shirt, swag bag, BBQ, photo booth, medals/prizes, and more! There is also a “Fun Run” and “Bounce House” for kids.

Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf – May’s focus for the GEFS is cereal and salad dressing (especially Ranch).
Bottles and Cans – Rob McCulloch is still collecting “clean” bottles and cans for the Mission Share Outreach Center throughout 2026. Focus items continue to be pasta of any kind, canned fruit of any kind, and toiletries.
Monthly Missions – An offering plate has been placed at the rear of the Sanctuary to receive donations for Lakeview’s monthly missions.
Video Series called “A World on the Move” ―from World Relief. This series is helping us understand what is happening with refugees right now. Next meetings are scheduled for May 19 and May 26 at 6:30 PM in the Lakeview Conference Room. Link for additional information: https://worldrelief.org/churches-of-welcome/.
Consistory Meetings – Wednesday, May 20; and Monday, June 22, both meetings to be held at 7:00 PM in the Founders’ Room.
Juliets’ Luncheon – Next luncheon is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 12:30 PM, at the South Bay Bar & Grill (1300 Empire Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14609). Sign-up sheet is located in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Person: Dottie Mason.
