Coffee Hour – Thank you to the members of the Community Life Committee for hosting today’s Coffee Hour. Please consider signing up to host one of these Sunday fellowship times. Coffee and juice are provided by Lakeview; snacks are optional.

Monthly Mission – On February 15, Jim Crowley will speak to us on behalf of the Jan-Feb Monthly Mission, Saving Grace Ministries.
Juliets’ Luncheon – Next ladies’ luncheon is scheduled for Friday, February 27. Mark your calendars. Place: TBD.
Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf – January Focus: Canned beets, chili-flavored beans, coffee or tea. Thank you for your generous donations this past month. For the February focus, the GEFS has requested flavored instant oatmeal (to help start the day), and ketchup, or mayonnaise. Thank you.
Bottles and Cans – Rob McCulloch will continue to collect “clean” bottles and cans for Mission Share in 2026. At present, focus items continue to be pasta of any kind, canned fruit of any kind, and toiletries.
Lost & Found – For your convenience, a box for lost and found items has been placed in the narthex by the bookcase. Items will be kept until end of January.

Video Series – Pastors Rick and Rose plan to start a video series, “The Case for Easter,” during Lent. Please sign up, if interested, with day or evening preference.
Consistory Mini-Minutes: The Lakeview Consistory met on Monday, January 19.
1. Pastor Rick led devotions. He shared a painting from his friend Elmer Yazzie, a Navajo artist. The painting’s title is The Spirit of Availability. God asks for us to be available so that we can serve our church and our community.
2. Bill Foster presented the video ministry. Check the back of church for the new tech equipment already in place.
3. Deacons proposed changes to monthly missions. One is renewing our partnership with JJ Ten Clay, RCA Global Mission Refugee Ministries Coordinator.
4. We considered the upcoming Lenten season, which starts on February 18 with an Ash Wednesday service.
5. We discussed the transition to middle assemblies in 2026. Want to know more? Check out this link: www.albanysynod.org/restructure
6. We brainstormed about ways to celebrate Lakeview’s 75th anniversary in 2026. Do you have any ideas for us?
Weather Cancellation Policy – At our January meeting, Consistory approved the following weather cancellation policy:
– Winter Storm or Blizzard Warning – Cancel church service (Red on Threat Tracker)
– Advisory – Consider cancellation but urge caution. (Yellow on Threat Tracker)
– Watch – no action required.
If a worship service is cancelled, you will be notified by your care group elder or deacon via text or phone call.
