History of Our Congregation
Lakeview Community Church, Reformed is located near Lake Ontario in the Town of Greece, New York, a Northwest suburb of Rochester, NY.
Lakeview has been serving the Greece lakeshore community for over fifty years. Located at the North end of Long Pond Road, The Church is easily accessible from Edgemere Drive, Long Pond Road or the Lake Ontario State Parkway.
Lakeview Community Church was formed by a group of local residents who felt the need for a nearby place to worship. The lakeshore area was changing from one of summer cottages to an area of substantial, year-round homes. Due to the generosity of one of these founding members, Lakeview occupies a large tract of land at the northern end of Long Pond Road.
